Ok I pmed you the info, please get back with me with what you think might be wrong and if you were able to correct it.

I ran through the guide, but I still can't log in. Cookie settings are

Domain: blank
Path: /gme_mybb/

http://home.compwhizii.net:9377/gme_mybb

thank god for you iw as having huge issues on my forum and it kept keeping me logging me out it was cause of the cookie domain XD anyways thank you so much this tutorial helped my forum get back up and now i can use it TY TY TY

Oh by the way the cookie settings are like that because I access the board through localhost.

The source isn't saying the same as what you posted, it's saying the domain is .gmodengineers.com and the path is /forums/ and that isn't right either.

Your cookie domain needs to be .compwhizii.net or home.compwhizii.net and the path needs to be /gme_mybb/

That's odd. I updated it directly in the DB since I can't log in. What can I do to make sure it updates?

Yes, the reason we tell people to edit the file is because the forum doesn't use the database for settings, it uses settings.php. The values from the database are put into settings.php when you save the settings in the ACP.

Mine will not work and The cookies are set properly.
