$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".fun.tm0.org";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/forum/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "";
I also tried
$settings['cookiedomain'] = "fun.tm0.org";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/forum/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "";
My url is
www.fun.tm0.org/forum.
http://fun.tm0.org/forum/diagnostics.php
May help. I looked and both didn't work :/
I have just setup a clean install of MyBB and I am experiencing login problems on the front end only. I can login to the administrative backend and navigate through the pages just fine without being logged out. However I cannot login to the frontend using either my admin account or a test account.
My website address is:
http://www.afkguy.com
My forum is located:
http://www.afkguy.com/tools/forum
My Cookie Domain is set to:
.afkguy.com
My Cookie Path is set to:
/tools/forum/
I have tried ".www.afkguy.com" as my cookie domain with no success.
I have CHMOD settings.php to 666. I have manually set the values as well as set them in the control panel. I have deleted the file and allowed it to regenerate.
I have cleared my cookies after making each change. My browser (FireFox Latest version) is set to accept cookies.
All of my settings are correct, all methods have been attempted.
I have set up a test account:
username: tester
pass: tester
Please help resolve this problem asap.
Well, yes, they're two different domain, and the cookie settings are based on one of them and not the other. You can try
this plugin but I'd recommend just choosing one URL and redirecting the other one to it...
the directory of the old installation was /mybb and i made a new mybb installation and reinstalled the backup.
i edited the settings or config.php cant remember, and it worked for awhile but now it aint , i managed to get into the adminCP , but keep getting logged out everypage but i found that the cookie path is still /mybb but i manually changed it to / , any ideas?
cheers

I got a little problem which I can't think of how to solve. My website is
http://195.234.10.117/lynxrp and i bought a domain for it on a completely different host
www.lynxclan.co.uk. My cookie is .195.234.10.117 and my path is /lynxrp/. It works fine on the normal link to login but on the forwarding domain it doesn't work. Help please? Thanks.
The cookie domain is .terrum.co.uk and the path is /lynxrp/ which doesn't match up to any domains. You won't be able to access it properly with
http://www.lynxclan.co.uk/ because you've put it in an iframe, they cause problems with logging in, really not a good way of setting it up, any way you can make it load on
http://www.lynxclan.co.uk/ with no iframe??
