Could you possibly provide your forum URL and details for a test account? This looks like a problem with jQuery which may be caused by having multiple versions of jQuery on your site.

Did you try contacting the NetPen author?

He's very responsive and will try his best to fix the issues with MyAlerts plugin.

MyAlerts displays quote alerts as "User has quoted you in """ -- the thread title is missing. Is this a problem for anyone else and is there a workaround?

Are you using the current version of the code from GitHub? From what I remember, the subject uses the post subject, rather than the thread subject. Are you sure the post containing the quote has a post subject associated?
Hello Smile

I am really sorry if I missed it and you answerd this already but: Is there a way to send an alert to EVERYONE ? Like a @everyone and every user gets an alert? Smile For special news and stuff!

There isn't any way to do this built in to MyAlerts at the minute I'm afraid.

Hey Euan -- I missed this reply.

I'm using the version from the OP which I believe was hosted on GitHub. The plugin manager says it's version 2.0.4.

When responding to an OP, it does include the thread and/or post title. When responding to follow-up posts though, the quotes are empty even if the post has a title.

Might this be related to my version? I'm pretty sure it's the latest version. Is there an easy way to correct this? I'm looking at lines 1041 through 1116 in myalerts.php.
(2018-09-18, 01:56 PM)Rufus McDufus Wrote: [ -> ]Hi - I have a little problem with MyAlerts 2.0.4.  My forum is set up such that the first post or thread for a user needs to be approved by a moderator. When a new thread is approved, the alert message the thread author receives is:

 <moderate name> unapproved your thread "<thread name>"

That is - they're seeing an "unapproved" alert for a thread which has been approved.
Naturally this confuses a few people! I've had a quick look through the code to see if any message are not lined up with specific actions but can't see anything out of the ordinary.

Just bumping - wonder if anyone else has seen this problem?

Interesting. I'm going to have to look into this, as I'm not quite sure what's going on. The code in question is here: https://github.com/MyBBStuff/MyAlerts/bl....php#L1050

MyAlerts doesn't have alerts for approved/unapproved posts/threads by default, are you using a plugin to provide additional alert types?

Ah, apologies - this is probably Moderation Alerts Pack then.
