Hi my name is Derek, AKA zillionz. I'm from the republic of Ireland and I'm 34 years old.

I have a BSc in Toxicology and a Masters Degree is Science throguh research... graduated over a year ago but still haven't managed to secure a job... things are pretty poor on the jobfront in Ireland still... I'd have emigrated ages ago only for I have 2 kids.

Recently took an interest in web development and have been steadily learning all the tools of the trade... so far I have learned substantial amounts of HTML, JS, CSS, PHP, MySQL among other programming applications. Finding it very engaging stuff altogether. I'm developing a site about Irish food and recipes as a primer project into developing my own website from scratch... in fact, I've just finished building the core template from my website, including several server side includes, and have put that onto my webhoster today... you can have a look at the link below. Adding pages to update the site won't take long, so please check back at a later date

Anyhow, I look forward to becoming a regular user of this forum and I'm sure it will be invaluable to me in furthering my knowledge of building database driven dynamic websites

EDIT: Also, I should add... I simply can't believe that this product is on offer for free here... why is anyone bothering to pay for competitors forum software? Maybe they don't know about this place?
