Oh got it, i was confused
Thanks man
And thanks for the plugin Euan
How does a user use this? Theres no mention of this on Github, in the mod, or in the OP. Strange.
^ well, it is a notifier of certain things available in the forum for user to see and respond if required.
if there are new alerts then MyAlerts at the top clearly shows it. on clicking the link it gives further details ..
Yes. But how do I use this? Do I use an @user symbol? I have this on test on localhost and nothing I type, quote or otherwise sends alerts to any user.
Also note that users must enable the alerts they wish to receive via the UCP.
Thanks for the clarification guys.
The Alerts link at the top of the page is no longer displaying a tooltip when clicked. It's expanding the entire nav panel. See below:

one of the best plugins ever made for mybb

MyAlerts can also be easily extended by other plugin authors wishing to hook into the plugin to add alerts for actions happening within their own plugin. For more details on this, see here: https://github.com/euantor/MyAlerts/wiki/Integrating
MyAlerts also allows both administrators and users to choose exactly which alerts to receive so your users don't get bogged down by useless alerts they're not interested in and bigger board owners can disable more intensive alert types such as quote alerts.
MyAlerts by default uses jQuery to perform all it's javaScript actions but a Prototype version of the JS is included. For more details on this, see here: https://github.com/euantor/MyAlerts#jquery-or-prototype
MyAlerts also required PluginLibrary version 9 or newer. This can be obtained here: http://mods.mybb.com/view/pluginlibrary

Reporting bugs / getting support
Due to the size and complexity of this plugin there are most likely still a few bugs I've simply forgotten about. It's been in development for a long time and it's been hard to keep track of all the issues.
I'd love if people could report bugs at the plugin's GitHub repository if possible.

ENABLE ALL ALERTS FOR EXISTING USERS
Thanks to Shade, we have a handy script you can run to enable all alerts for currently registered users. This will become core soon. http://community.mybb.com/thread-127444-...#pid987832
I just installed MyAlerts (the most recent update) but there seems to be an issue.
When i installed it, and ran the script, it seemed to change funcionality in my thread posting options. There was just a textbox to write threads in, there was no section for font, alignment etc etc. I was wondering why?
^ @ Addiction & @ DragonH , we need forum url and test user account to check most of the issues related to MyAlerts plugin.
@ Addiction, may be you missed uploading myalerts.js file or there are more than one instance of jQuery script
