As I've said before, it will never be in the core. The core of MyAlerts is meant only to provide a base system. Support for other plugins has to come from plugin authors.

Hi Euan, the script for turning on alerts for everyone is not working for me. It just goes to a blank page after 2 seconds, but does nothing. I thought maybe something with CloudFlare. But the result is the same. Any advice?

That's odd. That script needs a bit of an overhaul (as does the rest of MyAlerts tbh). I'll take a look at it this week. In the meantime, can you check and see if anything is showing in your PHP error log?

Here is what's reported by server tech

Any advice in how to fix this? Or perhaps how to run mysql query to change the required fields.

Ah, obviously the script is pointing to the wrong place. If you open the file inc/plugins/MyAlerts/force_enable_alerts.php and search for the following:

require_once '../../init.php';

Replace it with:

require_once '../../../init.php';

Still nothing. I'm working with tech support now to see if we can figure it out. If we can't figure it out, can you recommend MySQL query to run to manually do this task?

Okay. Finally got it done.

Logged into SSH and ran it directly from the directory. Then ran into memory errors

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 176160768 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes)

And my host increased allowed memory and then it ran fine.

Ah, yes. It's quite a heavy script as it runs it for every member. The upcoming new version will run it with a set limit per page (defaulting to 30) and will be ran directly via the ACP.
